Your records and your decisions

Your company’s financial records stay in QuickBooks. Guided Experience does not capture, copy, store or alter those records, and it does not submit transactions on your behalf.

The extension does not modify Intuit’s software. It reads page controls locally to provide guidance and navigation. Optional themes change the appearance in your browser, and promotion blocking can hide recognized promotional messages when enabled. These display options are designed to leave QBO’s accounting tools available. You remain in control of any changes you make in QuickBooks.

Guidance, not automatic bookkeeping

The guide helps you locate controls and understand tasks. It does not replace your review of a transaction or professional accounting advice. Your own use of QuickBooks controls can create, change or delete records, so review the result before confirming an action. QBO features vary by plan, permissions and product updates.

Free beta

Beta access is free. It does not start a paid subscription, charge a card or begin the planned seven-day launch trial. Guides may contain errors or miss a changed control. Please report issues through Feedback without including private business or financial information.

Privacy choices

Optional guide usage sharing are off by default. See the privacy details for browser storage, voluntary feedback, signup contact information and deletion controls.

Account access

Use an email address you control and keep sign-in codes private. Account access is provided during free beta without charges or a trial countdown. Your profile stores information you enter yourself; it does not connect to your QuickBooks financial records. Billing is not enabled. You can sign out or delete your account from your profile.
