Your company’s financial records stay in QuickBooks. Guided Experience does not capture, copy, store or alter those records, and it does not submit transactions on your behalf. We do not send company names, customers, vendors, balances, account numbers, field values, screenshots or full page addresses to our services.
The extension does not modify Intuit’s software. It reads page controls locally to provide guidance and navigation. Optional themes change the appearance in your browser, and promotion blocking can hide recognized promotional messages when enabled. These display options are designed to leave QBO’s accounting tools available. You remain in control of any changes you make in QuickBooks. Guide progress and settings are saved in your browser profile. Optional diagnostic logs stay on your device until you choose to share them.
Optional guide usage sharing
Off by default. If enabled, we count defined feature actions, such as starting or completing a guide and using the Desktop menu. Events contain an event name, predefined feature ID, day, and a random installation identifier. No QBO page text or values are included. This is pseudonymous usage data. You can switch it off and delete usage history in the extension.
Information you submit
Beta signup stores the email you enter and agreement to beta contact. Feedback stores the category, your written message, version, date and a random installation ID. Do not include financial, personal, QBO or Intuit information in feedback. No screenshots or page contents are attached. No advertising trackers are used.
Retention and deletion
Usage events expire after 90 days. Signup and feedback remain until deletion is requested or the beta closes, when retention will be reviewed. Device-linked usage and feedback can be deleted from the extension. Remove signup contact information using the form below.
Hosting providers process requests and may maintain security logs, including network metadata. Our application does not store raw IP addresses. Hashed rate-limit buckets expire after a day. Beta signup does not authorize unrelated marketing. Independent of Intuit.

Your Guided Experience account
Creating an account is separate from requesting beta access. We save your verified email, optional display name, QBO plan and country edition you select, optional usage-sharing preference, acceptance of our terms, and account dates. We do not read these profile details from QuickBooks. Guide progress stays on your device.
Supabase processes email authentication. Cloudflare hosts the website, stores your profile and sends sign-in emails. These services process your email and the technical information needed for delivery, security and authentication. Your company’s financial records are not sent to these services.
A secure website session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. Extension sign-in uses browser session storage and ends when that browser session ends, or sooner if it expires or you sign out. These are necessary sign-in storage, not advertising trackers. You can sign out everywhere from your profile.
Your account remains until you delete it. Delete account in your profile removes your sign-in identity, profile, active sessions and matching beta access request. It does not erase feedback, provider security or delivery logs, or extension data saved on your devices. Contact feedback@guidedexperience.app for other deletion requests.
